ALAS Concert Announcement
It’s finally here…ALAS (América Latina en Acción Solidaria) has announced that two large-scale concerts will take place in Buenos Aires and Mexico City on May 17th to improve the lives of children living in poverty in Latin America.
Who is performing?
Alejandro Sanz, Aleks Syntek, Babasónicos, Calle 13, Chayanne, David Bisbal, Diego Torres, Fito Páez, Gustavo Cerati, Jorge Drexler, Juan Luis Guerra, Juanes, Los Tigres del Norte, Maná, Miguel Bosé, Paulina Rubio, Ricardo Montaner, Ricky Martin, Shakira and Timbiriche.
The concerts will be free and more details will be released soon…

Why such short notice for these concerts? I really doubt all of the performers listed will show, especially Ricky. He said he wasn’t performing this year & his band is off doing their own thing. Time will tell.
