Angelica Vale Could Play Jenni Rivera in Movie
We’ve been hearing talk about a Jenni Rivera movie immediately following the tragic accident in which she died in.
Well , it appears that they are moving forward with this project and are looking at who could play la diva de la banda.
It was mentioned on El Gordo y La Flaca that one of the names that is being mentioned is Angelica Vale.
Nothing is confirmed at this point and we’re sure it’ll take time to finalize it all, however….
What do you think about Angelica playing Jenni?? If you don’t agree – then who do you suggest play Jenni in the movie??

Yeah I knew they were going to make a movie about her but I didn’t think it would happen this soon. She just died for God sakes.
Angelica is the only well known actress chunky enough to pull it off, but her boobs are too small. I’d say go with a lesser well known actress, someone with the curves to really pull it off. Angelica does not get my vote. Sorry.
I just can’t think of any famous actresses that could play Jenni well. All actresses are too damn skinny. Maybe Liliana Rodriguez?

Another thing……. I really hope Chiquis did not do that to her mother. That would truly be a horrible thing. @Eddie Angelica won’t work for the same reason you can’t have Jonah Hill portray Obama in an Obama bio. It would look STUPID. The whole point of even having casting calls is to pick out the actors who who can portray the roles in the most believable way. Jenni isn’t some random literary character where you can take artistic license and choose anyone to play her. The actress has to at least look like her in some way or have the ability to ACT in a manner that resembles the person, ESPECIALLY in a biography movie. Angelica could do it but I think if you had open casting calls you could find someone way better. And Lana has a point about Anglica not even speaking English. How the hell can she act the role of Jenni if she can’t even speak the same language. It would be stupid. But then again by your logic, any “actor” Jonah Hill included, could play the role of Jenni, no problem.

Ur funny Edgar!! The answer to your question is since forever . . .its called credibility and being able to garner the emotion and the respect from the viewers to be able to pull it off. This is the reason why actors ride in police cars before playing cops. Its called due diligence. Vale is wrong for the part. But I guess on some level you are correct . . . .I mean, Lohan played Elizabeth Taylor’s part in that recent movie. Heres the thing though, it was an utter failure. Bad call= a decision made in haste by some producer which leads to a useless movie which disenchants fans. Epic fail= casting Angelica Vale to portray a woman she has nothing in common with and is not going to be able to capture her essence.
