I’m proud if my background—- But as Latinos in the U.S. we do have a unique experience than in Mexico or other countries… Plus don’t they make fun of “foreign” Latinos as “Pochos” over there?
Please— I’m proud to be Latino– I’m also very proud of the great contributons we have made to this country— Includying over 350,000 Mexican Americans during World War II,, Cesar Chavez was from Arizona, served proudly in the U.S. NAvy—
Anough for now– But until more of us begin to “agradecer” a Los Estados Unidos…and we show more loyalty— We’re never going to be welcome into the mainstream—- Many Latinos have died for this country— But this current generation has become very ethno centric and many times anti American.
Latino history in the U.S. dates back to before the Pilgrims ( e.g. Santa Fe, New Mexico)
