Tiziano Ferro in Mexico - Not Dead
What a brave soul. Only a little over four months since he first made the comments heard around the Spanish-speaking world, Tiziano Ferro makes his first trip to Mexico. He admits that this is the right time to be in Mexico because due to a depression he couldn’t bring himself to travel. He tells Reforma:
“To come here before was impossible, because I fell into a big depression, I wouldn’t have had the possibility of picking myself up and sitting on a plane, I was in a state of shock.”
One of his first stops in Mexico is the live show called Otro Rollo. We’ll have to wait and see if they don’t rip him apart and send him deeper into his depression. Zoloft Tiziano?

So Far, Not So Good for Tiziano Ferro - Latin Gossip wrote:
[…] As reported earlier, Tiziano Ferro made his way to Mexico and everyone was pretty unsure of how he would be received. Lo and behold, he arrived at the airport and very little media presence was there awaiting his arrival but the worst part is no fans showed up either. Not one. What a hairy situation! Shakira Adds Her Two Cents About Tiziano’s Comments - Latin Gossip wrote:
[…] Just when you thought that nothing more could be said about Tiziano Ferro and his declaration that all Mexican women have moustaches, Shakira opens the can again. At Premios Oye!, in which she won every category she was nominated in, she said: “I don’t think that he knows women like Salma Hayek, who is an exponent of Mexican beauty.” […]

Let’s face it Tiziano made a mistake that is costing him millions. If we look at demographics– Italy has about 57 million citizens and Tiziano appeals to mostly the teenage crowd. In Mexico you have double the population (not including the U.S. market). Mexico is the gateway to the rest of the Latin American Spanish speaking market. Think of that in dollars or euros and he is forced to apologize whether he meant the apology or not. The show that he appeared on is hosted by an intelligent presenter, who countered Ferro’s comments and apologized imediately.

How many times does a person have to apologise for a silly comment? I think Tiziano Ferro’s an amazing artist who deserves a second chance. I saw Laura Pausini on Mexican TV and they spoke about Mafia and Pizza no problems there. As for costing millions lets face it the European Market is far more lucrative than the Latino Market. In fact the European Market has overtaken American sales.

Well, no one can’t forget it ’cause it wasn’t a mistake, he said it! And it wasn’t just a comment, it was a racist comment!
All the time ppl goes racist with gays, jews, black ppl and mexicans and when you show yourself as a non tolerant person, what r you teaching the world? The childrens, well, this guy is teaching that you can insult everyone and if you see that it troubles you, then apologize with the tail between the legs and everything’ll be okay.
