Lupillo Rivera Will Still Father Kid That Isn’t His
We already discussed that Lupillo Rivera discovered that one of his kids was actually not his, proven by a DNA test.
BUT…we did not mention that Lupi is going to continue looking after the boy and will maintain financial responsibility for him.
Awww! Very big of him!
Lucky kid! He almost lost it all!

True that is what you do call real love. Just hopefully the media don’t make a bigger deal out of this in making this kid feel like an outsider. Besides none of this was his fault nor Lupillo’s.
Takes a big heart and a true man to accept this kid no matter what the situation is.

To the rest of you dads–Be careful with this. If you start to support a kid because you think s/he is yours or it is the “right thing to do,” but later learn that the child is not yours (either by DNA tests or by her admission) and then decide to STOP supporting the kid, if she sues for child support the court may ORDER you to continue paying support!!!! Don’t really get the court’s thinking here–especially when DNA tests prove you are not the father. Maybe courts just want to assure that the taxpayer doesn’t get the burden?
So much for trying to do the right thing . . . !

Cody yu are so right. I remember reading about a case where the man married a woman who already had a toddler. They were married for like 5 years and when they divorced she sued him for child support. He figured how the heck is she going to do that when the kid was his step child; not his biological child.
The judge ruled in her favor stating something like when he married her he chose to take on that child as his own and support that child; so now he must continue to do so.
