Family of Down Syndrome Fan Defends Jenni Rivera
We weren’t going to talk about this because we don’t think she did anything wrong at all.
Jenni Rivera welcomed a fan with down syndrome onstage at one of her recent concerts and she celebrated his presence in front of thousands of fans and even gave him a drink of alcohol.
The audience loved it, Jenni loved it, the fan loved it.
The media? Not so much. Many news outlets criticized Jenni and accused her of making fun of the man and came down on her hard for giving him booze. Hello, the fan is 28 years old!
NOW, the sister of the fan is coming out in support of Jenni. She spoke exclusively with Escandalo TV and made it very clear that she, along with the rest of her family, are very grateful to Jenni for making his dream come true.
If the family is happy, everyone else should be!

There is no single DS condition. Some have VERY special needs while others are capable of living practically on their own and have relationships beyond their family. This man’s family should be able to decide on their own if she acted inappropriately w/o a lot of hateful naranjas (te veo, MJR).
