President Obama Handpicks Emilio Estefan
On Wednesday, President Barack Obama announced the appointment of several individuals to the Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of the American Latino.
Emilio Estefan was appointed to sit on the Commission along with Andres W. Lopez, Cindy Peña, Abigail M. Pollak, and Cid Wilson.
What an honor! It’s about time we got our own National Museum!

I am no expert on the U.S.A. but it seems to me that more and more America is being influenced

This is a good thing and perhaps inevitable.

Gigi: I sincerely pray that Emilio will befair and unbiased as to who is selected. Emilio seems to play that cronysm and payola, political game. Music and the Arts are not political. Emilio I pray that you are fair and with dignity and integrity handle this very important endeavour. Congratulations and remember La Musica Latina es UNIVERSAL.
