Thalia Talks About Life With Lyme Disease
All the money in the world can’t erase all of our problems.
Quien reveals that Thalia takes 30 pills and five antibiotics a day to control the Lyme Disease that she contracted a few years ago.
In a new interview with Cristina, the singer says:
“You feel like your life is being taken away. Forget money, fame, and success. Without health you have nothing. I felt horrible, my hair fell out, and my skin got really dry.”
Of course, it’s easy to say that she lives a spoiled life, which she probably does, but living with Lyme is not so easy, no matter how much wealth you have.

I also had lyme in 1984 when hardly nobody had heard of the disease. I was very lucky that my father was a medical doctor in Houston, Texas and send a picture of the pain free, rectangular, well define, bruiselike line on my abdomen….. to the center of disease control in Atlanta, Georgia. They inmediatelly suspected was a typical lyme case and ask for a especific type of blood test, also sent to a laboratory in another state. I was treated with massive doses of antibiotic. Same as syphilis is treated. Since my Lyme was caught very early I din’t go through a lot of the usual symptoms associated with the disease. Good Luck Thalia!!
