El concurso es un instrumento completamente comercial para enriquecer a un pequeño grupo de ” benefactores” que otorgan esta oportunidad a una chica Latina para que triunfe en los medios y ofrecen además un entretenido espectáculo al mundo. Tampoco el público debe tener la última palabra donde existe un jurado y especialistas que pueden determinar con justicia quien tiene mejores condiciones. Le falta mucho para ser una competencia seria.
Mientras tanto me entretengo, cuando quiero dedicarme al ocio,0 viendo nuestra belleza latina.

Also, the network began production of its first morning television show. The program was Mundo Latino, anchored by Lucy Pereda and Frank Moro, who were both Cuban. Moro left for Mexico to continue his career as a soap opera actor and the network brought in Jorge Ramos.

Im not even Cubana but I still feel Greidys was the best pic out of all the candidates. She has grace, determination, intelligence, a beautiful smile and a good heart. And in my opinion she spoke the best spanish out of all them. When the others would speak it seemed like they had to think TOO MUCH about what they were going to say, not the best vocabulary. With Greidys it just came out naturally.
