Sofia Vergara Could Have a Hit With Modern Family
We are so happy for Sofia Vergara!
She has been cast in several television shows in the past, none of which was able to build an audience.
Hopefully, that’s all about to change with her new show, Modern Family.
It premiered on Wednesday and we couldn’t stop laughing. It’s a perfect role for Sofia!

Glad I did. Great writing! Even in espa~ol. I wonder if they have a latin writer or if that’s some of Sofia’s improvisations? And was I the only one who didn’t get that they were all related til the end when they got together to meet the baby?

So by all rights she’s on the cusp of becoming more of a household name here in The States. She sure deserves it.

Sofia ( I had never been a fan ) but last night I could not stop being proud of the girl! She did a GREAT job … yes she plays a latina that looks loud and sounds way to latina .. but in reality she is like that …….. anyway … Sofia congrads on a great show!

Conventional wisdom in acting is that comedy is harder than drama, but I think Sofia’s an exception to that. She wasn’t the greatest dramatic actress in a show like Dirty Sexy Money. But she was so funny in her interview with Chelsea Handler that the host said it was the best interview she’d ever given. And the role in Modern Family is perfectly suited for her.

As for some of you who say she has no talent because her privious work on tv shows haven’t lasted very long well, George Clooney also worked on many tv shows before he became huge on ER and later in the movies. I’m not saying Sofia will become huge like George but i’m glad she is on this new show.
