Julie Bowen Disses Sofia Vergara on Chelsea Lately

Modern Family sure is getting a lot of press, but it’s controversial press…then again, the show is controversial so it probably is for the best.
Julie Bowen was on Chelsea Lately and spent a big chunk of her interview talking about costar Sofia Vergara.
She called her ‘Chola Barbie’, made reference to Sofia receiving jewelry as gifts like some type of hooker, and made fun of her accent all because Sofia didn’t remember/pronounce her name right.
It’s all in good fun ONLY if they are friends, but many people are already accusing her of being a racist.
We’re giving Julie the benefit of the doubt and take it as sarcastic jokes between pals. We really hope that’s the case.
BUT then Julie goes on to stereotype Latinos as dishwashers in restaurants so then again we might be wrong.
