I like Shakira, her songs and her dancing. I would rather see her in front covers of magazine with her nice body than to see Jenni Rivera and her rolls of fat!!! Way to go Shakira

Okay these are okay pics, but it’s not our Shakira! Already give this girl an identity that is different then other artist. Give Shakira her own for once and all! She shouldn’t have to pimp herself out to sell an album. She is a true artist!
I don’t really like this because it reminds me of Beyonce! And I still think she is trying too hard to be sexy. Like it is being forced. Being sexy should come out naturally and not like this. Bet they took a lot of takes on this because she kind of still looks uncomfortable.

Such a great role model to girls – NOT!
If that’s all she can sell nowadays, she needs to retire. She has all the money she needs and then some.

This looks exactly like the BEYONCE spread?
Her last album sounded like Jewel and now this?

Man Shakira is a SEXY ASS BIATCH!!! (no offense tho) She has transformed and evolved over the years! I don’t care what anybody says, but she is beautiful, she is someone anybody can look up too, she is sweet, she is kind…shit with Shakira on the scene, who he fuck is Jennifer Lopez!?!?!?! Plus, you guys all need to get a grip! Just because she is doing this magazine spread does not mean she is selling her body…and if she is so f**** what! She has the body so let her show it off!
Alessandra I definitely agree with you girl! This is something different from what we usually see in Shakira.
As far as compering her to Beyonce with her Sasha Fierce, come on, at least she is not being compared to some wack ass Jennifer Lopez who can’t even sing! Beyonce is another sexy ass biatch in the music industry so making such comparison only let’s us know Shakira being one of very, very, and I mean very few Latina is at that level. We don’t see Paulina making records with Beyonce, Wyclef, Alejandro Sanz…or do we? (no seriously, do we?) So let the girl shine fools! So just fall back and watch Shakira work her magic fools!

Time for a change. As an artist, Shakira has to change her style. IT sure worked for Madonna. Great Shakira! Work your body and beauty.
Sex sells. Go for it . Shakira is basically same inwardly, a humanitarian and keeps her life private.

I no longer consider myself a Shakira fan – that’s pretty difficult for me to admit being that I am Colombian and of course I root most of all for my fellow countrymen/women. She has totally lost her ORIGINALITY – image AND music wise. There’s absolutely nothing left of that sincere and MODEST individual who sang about MEANINGFUL things. She hit super stardom and completely sold out. Her songs sound just like any other commercial artist and her look is that of your typical media whore! So sad that in order to reach the pinnacle of fame artists need to compromise their morals and uniqueness in exchange for sleaze and sex!!! If I had no idea at all who Shakira was and I saw the pictures above I’d honestly think she was selling herself for an S&M experience, it would never cross my mind to think that she was a musician. What a shame!

Shakira is walking that dangerously close JLo line. Remember, JLo got blonder and started showing her goodies more and her music got worse to the point now, whenever I see her, I just roll my eyes.
I understand sex sells, but Shakira is slowly morphing into Beyonce before our eyes and there is nothing we can do about it. Her albums are becoming mostly english and mediocre. And the she wolf video? Really? She took dance lessons as a child? No jodas! I wanted to put a wallet in her mouth, lay her on her stomach and stop the seizures.
They say once you make it big in America, you pretty much have made it. (My ex husband was in the music business, it is very true) But it seems like she sold her soul or something, I just like the old Shakira better.

i was so looking forward to the new shakira cd. some of her lyrics from the old days border on mystic poetry.
she was a searching soul and she was not afraid of sharing her tender, vulnerable, sweet, intelligent, caring, spiritual beauty. she was unconventional. she was real.
the latest disc almost made me cry. et tu, shakira? sure, you still run an orphanage and i will always love you for that. but is it not as important to make a cultural contribution to the millions of us being suffocated in this toxic wasteland?
her dancing used to be joyful, organic, flowing expressions of actual love. this is plastic, forced, and painful to watch.
and i don’t even think it is doing well commercially.
shakira, you were popular for a reason. you were popular because you were you.
and someday perhaps you will come back to us.
one can only hope.
but it sure helped when i used to be able to sing along with you in that hopefulness…
