Latinas Save the MTV VMAs
Critics worldwide are bashing the MTV Video Music Awards saying that they were bland, predictable, and just plain full of themselves. The underlying theme in most of the backlash credits the performances from Justin Timberlake, Shakira, and Christina Aguilera as the only moments of the night worth mentioning.
Shakira performed “Hips Don’t Lie” dressed in an arabic harem outfit while Christina sang “Hurt” while she wore a red dress and proved that she doesn’t have to be dirrty to get people’s attention.
This proves the theory that in order to get a party going you have to have a couple of latinos to get things started the right way.
