salmaSalma Hayek presented the award for Best Actor at the BAFTAs on Sunday night — and she really wasn’t messing around.

Dressed in black in support of the Time’s Up movement like many of the actresses in attendance, Salma kept her pre-award speech short — but she managed to get a couple of memorable lines in.

“In this very important and historical year for women,” she said, “I am here on this legendary stage to celebrate… men.”

Then, after the nominees had been announced, Salma opened the golden envelope. And proceeded to announce the winner as “Frances McDormand”.

“Nah, just kidding,” she said moments later. “The BAFTA goes to Gary Oldman.”

Most people applauded her – others are saying it tarnished Gary’s deserved moment on the stage.
