Ricky Martin To Be Honored
Say what you want to say about Ricky Martin, but give him credit for everything he has done as a Latino, musician, and humanitarian. It was announced today that Ricky Martin will be honored as the 2006 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. The official press release states:
Martin, chosen for his accomplishments as a world renowned entertainer, consummate performer and passionate humanitarian, will receive the honor at a special star-studded tribute dinner and concert…
The dinner and concert are part of Latin GRAMMY week and they come right before the Latin Grammys Awards which will air live on Univision on November 2nd.
Congratulations Ricky - you continue to make us proud. Maybe you should call Jessica Alba and teach her how to represent Hispanics well.
