Howcome he travels with private jet when vacationing? Us, small people, are told we should save energy and the environment in all possible ways, like by changing to energy saving lamps and tubes, not driving by car that much and so on. I was at the MSG concert in October and it was SOLD OUT. He sang in English and Spanish. People flew in to see him perform from all over the world!
People that say he is a has been or that his fifteen minutes are up obviously have no idea about his long and illustrious career that has lasted 25 years!
Spanish actors and singers are celebrities too and deserve the same respect as American ones. Whatever people say about Ricky Martin has an audience in the States and they would like to hear about his foundation and where he vacations.

Another issue that people have brought up is Ricky’s foundation. 100% of proceeds go directly to the betterment of humanity. That is unlike some other celebrities that pocket a portion of their chartable earnings. For example, a portion of everything sold by Project Red ends up in Bono’s personal account. Ricky puts money into his foundation and before his foundation he saved girls on the streets of India from having to prostitute themselves to survive. He even built a home for these girls to give them the opportunity to have a normal existence. What have any of you don’t lately to improve your world?
What Ricky does for children is big to me. It is bringing awareness to many people about abuses around the world and I wish people like this unfortunate soul I am addressing would stop talking out of their @$$!

For many years (since early 1990s) Ricky has been helping children quietly in his native Puerto Rico. Only recently has he ever used his name and face to promote a cause. And yes a lot of the work IS done by Angel Saltos and others working for his foundation, but that doesnt take away from Ricky’s involvement in my opinion. That only shows his common sense in wanting to do things efficiently!
Yes, Ricky travels around the world and shows his face and talks about the foundation, why? To spread information about a crime so heinous people try to run from it! If he was after self-promotion he could have found some less complicated issue but instead he chose this.
As for Ricky’s career, well the world consists of other parts than the US, although that seems hard to understand for the people who live there! I have seen Ricky live and I have met him in person and both were unique and lovely experiences.
As for his sexuality? Who cares? That is his business isnt it?
