pepePepe Aguilar must have hired a top lawyer to represent his son in the case of human trafficking he was facing.

As you know, he was arrested after being caught trying to sneak in four Chinese nationals to the US – they admitted to paying between $3,000 and $60,000 to be smuggled.

Jose Emiliano Aguilar served 18 days in jail when arrested on March 14 following the discovery of the illicit load. He was then released on bond.

As we reported, he avoided additional time behind bars. On Tuesday he was sentenced to three years probation, including the first six months under home detention in a sober-living facility.

Jose’s legal team painted the picture of a good person, with mental health problems, that made a bad decision. They proved that he had no prior criminal convictions and convinced the court that Jose deserved a light sentence.

It could have gone so much worse. This legal team was worth every penny.
