Maite Perroni Will Star in Telenovela
She has been denying it for the past few days, but the production team of the telenovela Cuidado Con El Angel has confirmed that Maite Perroni of RBD has joined the cast.
She will star opposite the hunky William Levy.(Click here to see him)
We wonder how she will be able to manage her RBD responsibilities and work on this novela at the same time?
Is this a sign that RBD is coming to its end?

If she were to leave the band I don’t think it would affect them too much. Heck you could remove 2 members add a dog and they would still have a huge tween following. Maybe it’s time for the band to take a “break” so the members can do their solo projects for a while?

Well losing Maite for certain things wouldn’t hurt the group. It would be different if say Dulce or Anahi, each having such a huge fanbase, they can’t afford to lose one of them. I find it wierd that Pedro Damian(producer of rbd) would let her do it, and not let the others. I know they offered Dulce to star in movies and a novela, as well Poncho of couse, but they turned it down being too busy w/ the group. Poncho got lucky being able todo a peli well still in the group, giviing 2mths to make it. During the last days of Nov-Jan(that’s when the group is least active), but a novela takes a LEAST 6mths. It will be interesting(not the novela) how she’ll juggle the two, if it’s true?
