Though she was most recently working on online telenovelas for Univision, Kate Del Castillo has flip-flopped and is now working for Telemundo.
As you can see in the pic, the actress has signed on to be the protagonist of the network’s newest novela, La Reina Del Sur.

She gave up her very lucrative career in telenovelas for a chance at better range in roles, and this one just happened to be in spanish. The network is also irrelevant. What counts is that Perez Reverte sold the rights to Telemundo and apporved Kate.
