We questioned it and we were right!

It was difficult to ignore the age difference when Maite Perroni and Pedro Fernandez were paired up in the new novela Cachito De Cielo.

However it turns out that the ‘old guy-young girl’ situation is a critical piece to the storyline.

You see, the young hunk (played by Mane De La Parra – yes, Maite’s boyfriend in real life) somehow gets killed in the beginning of the novela and apparently comes back to life as Pedro Fernandez.

So we’re assuming that now she has to fall in love with him all over again despite him being some stranger and older than she is.

Now it makes sense! Maybe all those other novelas with old dudes dating young chicks are also reincarnations of resurrected youthful dead hunks!!
