I’m not from Cuba but my sister-in-law’s parents are from the Island, and through them I have met many Cuban girls, and they are well behave and not vulgar and gaudy like Niurka is.
I don’t think that just because she is a show-girl /actress, it means that all of those dancers/actresses behave the same way. It is not a prerequisite. There are plenty of women in the entertainment business of many countries that have lots of class and others that have none. She falls in the last catagory. It is truly shameful that there are women like her. And I’m not refering to her private life: how many times she marries, how many kids with different husbands she has—that is her business. Although, I do pity her children. She does seems to have a good heart, but that is not enough. A Call-girl might have a college education but she still is a walking sign of ill repute that can not represent what most women would like to be. To be respected we most respect ourself!
In this note I’m refering to Niurka’s professional life. She is in the public eye and what she says or does, does not help the Cause of women.
Niurka, and women like her, no matter what type of career they practice, disgrace our gender. No matter how good-looking she might be, or how talented, if I were a man I would not want her, seriously, by my side. She shows no class or self-esteem. A woman like her is a liability. She is the kind of girl you should never bring home to meet your parents.
That is my opinion and that of many honorable women.
