We’ll Never Stop Missing Selena
Today marks thirteen years since Selena was taken from us.
Her music and legacy live on…but we have to say we often wonder how much she would have achieved and how far she would have taken our Latin name…
Leave your love for Selena in the comments…

I think she would have gone far in her career. Her english album was a big hit. I can’t even believe that brother of hers acts the way he does it’s so sad.

I can’t believe its been 13 yrs. I am a huge Selena Fan, and I love to take any opportunity to talk about her.
I wore purple today to celebrate her life. I wore My Selena Pin as well.
I am so happy I am alive in a time where I was able to enjoy her memory and her music.

To be totally honest, I never heard of her until she passed. I don’t think she would have reached these heights or be immortalized in a movie were she still alive.

selena was gunned down on my 15th birthday, and it totally ruined my day. at that time i was a selena fanatic, having all of her CASSETTES at the time! “entre a mi mundo” was one of the first cd’s i ever purchased. lol, from the day she died until her birthday in mid-april, i tortured my family with selena music non-stop. i miss her. she was truly one-of-a-kind. she was and remains my favorite singer. i was born and raised in corpus christi, and anyone who lives there can tell you selena never acted like a diva. whether at HEB or walmart, she wasnt afraid to say hello or sign an autograph for her fans. humility. talent. class. THAT is why she is loved to this day.

Selena will live forever…! She was one of those rare stars that only shines in a million years and continues to shine soon after she is gone. She opened the door for many women in the music industry, and yes I have said it b4 and I will say it again…Jennifer Lopez became famous after she played her in the movie! I still remember all those castings they had for the role, para que a la hora de la hora se lo dieran a Jennifer Lopez. From what we can see, even after her tragic death, she continued to open the door for women. She will always live in our hearts, and in our memory…We will always love you Selena!
Juana la Cubana, (la ca**st* with your comment, you should have just your comment to yourself, or…) maybe you should really read over the things you write b4 you submit a comment because you are not making any sense! If she were still alive of course they wouldn’t have immortalized her in a movie…al contrario, she would be out here winning grammy’s like nothing, acting in her own produced movies I am sure, taking her clothing line and not to mention her music all over the world. Now tell me, when have you heard of a singer or actor for that matter being “immortalized” while they are still alive…do you even know what that word means? Don’t get me wrong, many do get “immortalized” in your way of seeing it, through their stars in Hollywood, by being inducted in the hall of fame, and all that BS…but seriously read your comments b4 you submit it.

I TOTALLY DO NOT AGREE WITH JUANA LA CUBANA…..SELENA HAD KNOCKED DOWN HUGE BARRIERS THAT OTHERS, FOR YEARS, HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO. I AS WELL AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE NOT ONLY THINK BUT KNOW THAT HAD SHE STILL BEEN PHYSICALLY ALIVE TODAY SHE WOULD BE A MEGA STAR….HER HARD WORK, AND HUMBLE PERSONALITY WOULD’VE ALLOWED HER TO GO VERY, VERY FAR IN THIS BUSINESS.
