Brothers Elizalde Change Tune
Valentin Elizalde’s brothers (Joel, EfraÃn, Sergio, Jesús “El Flacoâ€? and “El Chicoâ€? Elizalde) announced today that they will no longer sing ‘narcocorridos’, songs about the mafia, drugs, and trafficking. They feel that it can lead to violence and, in fact, want to sing ‘healthy’ corridos - staying away from potential harm.
In a press conference today, Jesus ‘El Flaco’ Elizalde, said:
“We have decided, all the brothers, that we will no longer sing those ‘narcocorridos’ because they incite violence.”
