rita+morenoRita Moreno recycled her dressed!

The actress walked the Oscars red carpet on Sunday in the same black and gold gown she wore to the Oscars in 1962, when she won the statue for best actress in a supporting role for “West Side Story.”

Rita says she thought it would tarnish – but it looked fantastic!

She said the skirt was made from a single piece of obi fabric, which is traditionally used to construct kimonos.

The dress was created in Manila and was made strapless. And unlike the first time around, she accessorized it heavily, wearing a black headband, a black and gold collar necklace, a chunky bracelet and earrings and elbow length gloves, which she also wore in 1962.

“Wait till you see what I’m wearing!!!” Rita tweeted late last month. It was worth the wait!
