People en Español’s Stars of the Year
It’s that time of year again! People en Español has selected the Stars of the Year 2007 and by the looks of it, they did their homework.
Jennifer Lopez - She really did accomplish a lot this year…between the Spanish album, the English album, El Cantante, the Univision miniseries, the continuous success of her clothing line, her first tour with her hubby, and staying quiet about her growing belly…when does she sleep?
Kate Del Castillo - Taking Hollywood by storm. This year she starred in Trade and The Black Pimpernel. Next year she is set to star in four films - Julia, Bad Guys, Under the Same Moon and Por vida (For Life).
Angelica Vale - The Comedian of the Year. She really did a superb job in La Fea Mas Bella.
Adamari Lopez - Named the “year’s comeback” for her return to telenovelas.
Juan Luis Guerra and Victor Manuelle are also recognized for their successful year with their music.
Don Omar and Jackie Guerrido - The Couple of the Year.
Luis Miguel - Dad of the Year - His first son was born this year and he finally stepped up to the father role with his estranged daughter.

No soy fanatica de Adamari Lopez, y honestamente creo que no ha hecho ninguna novela exitosa. Pero el simple hecho de vencer el cancer es mas que suficiente para estar ahi. Es famosa, joven, bella y reconocida por que tiene una carrera en TV. Esto nada mas la hace portavoz de esta terrible enfermedad que definitivamente puede atacar a cualquier mujer.

Jennifer Lopez tampoco debería de estar en el listado, “El Cantante” fue otro FRACASO fílmico de ella, y es tantooo así su fucú, que para ella estar en películas ahora o las hace ella con su productora o algo así, pero ya los directores no la quieren ni cerca de los sets de filmación.

Son muchos los cantantes que visitan la ciudad que nunca duerme, pero no todos logran un lleno total.
Sólo tres nombres de mexicanos garantizaron venta total en entradas de sus shows en Las Vegas Nevada, y fueron Luis Miguel, Alejandro Fernández y Maná.
Ningún otro cantante estuvo a su altura, y sus espectáculos estuvieron a reventar; Luis Miquel, por ejemplo, agotó localidades un mes antes de sus presentaciones.
Maná por su parte, invirtió mucho dinero en el diseño de su show, que incluyó magos y cascadas en el escenario. Diez mil personas presenciaron dicho espectáculo.
Y por último, El Potrillo remató en la ciudad de los casinos después de una exitosa gira por varias ciudades de la unión americana.

El intérprete mexicano Luis Miguel se suma a los nominados a los premios Grammy gracias a su disco “Navidades Luis Miguel”, con el cual se encuentra entre los artistas seleccionados para la categoría Mejor Álbum Pop Latino.
Con sede en la ciudad de Los Angeles, California, la 50 entrega de este galardón consolida una vez más el trabajo del intérprete de “La vikina”, quien nuevamente ha sido nominado a uno de los premios más importantes dentro del mundo de la música.
Prueba del éxito de “Navidades, Luis Miguel” son las posiciones de honor que “El Sol” ocupó en las principales listas de popularidad de música, prueba de ello, que a tan sólo una semana de su lanzamiento la producción debutó en el sitio número uno de la lista de ventas de Top Latin Album, de la revista “Billboard”.
