Juanes Moves Press Conference From Miami
Juanes was originally going to hold a press conference in Miami to discuss the final details of his Concierto Paz Sin Fronteras in Cuba but that has now changed.
Instead of South Florida, Juanes and other artists slated to perform will head over to Spain.
Smart. Miami is the hub of where his protesters live so holding a press conference there is probably not the best move.
Spain is basically neutral to the Cuban exile movement so we’re sure they won’t confront any issues there.
UPDATE: Despite several reliable media sources reporting on this story, Juanes’ PR rep tells us that there was never a press conference scheduled in Miami and that brief pre-concert rehearsal sessions were always planned for Spain.

Some people are truly clueless regarding the lack of human rights, and abuse of power known as “communism”. Unless you were forced to risk your life to leave Cuba (many do everyday) you can’t possibly truly understand. Castro is no different than Hitler… they’re both assasins, and rule with an iron fist. Yes Juanes has the right to play anywhere he wants, but most people in Cuba who want to go see him wont be allowed to. Castro decides that and everything else on that Island. Celia Cruz begged to be allowed back in her Country when her mother was dying to say her last good byes, but was not allowed. Yet Juanes accepts everything the Cuban dictator proposes. The Cuban-American exiles have every right to protest and fight for a FREE Cuba. And to Aleca… Cubans ARE NOT ALLOWED back into their own country. Some people should really educate themselves before speaking on a subject they know nothing about and risk sounding completely ignorant.
