Get Paid To Be Fan of Juanes
If chisme is to be believed…
Radio host Javier Ceriani said that on while Juanes was on his recent promotional trip to Italy, he was bombarded by fans everywhere he went, except these fans were paid to scream out to the singer and hold up signs all to build buzz about the Colombiano.
Paid fans? Could this be true?

i doubt this is what happened, JUANES is a huuge celebrity he’s already made it, he doesnt need to pay for fans…and as for enrique, FERNAN made him who he was after he left Fernan he was a nobody, until finally he comes up with a so so song, that only did good in the American market…he knows what he’s doing…

I’d say it’s true.
Juanes is a huge star in the Latin market that is not in question and he’ll probably stay that way for years to come but in Europe he became popular with only one song “Camisa Negra”. They tried everything to recapture that success even re-releasing “A Dios le Pido” for Europe.
Being a good artist doesn’t automaticaly mean that tv and radio will play you especialy if your a foreigner. Fernan may employ sly tactics but he does whatever it takes to get his artists noticed. If that means paying off some people to create a buzz then it’s just the way it goes it’s part of the game.
Oh and David, Enrique actualy left Fernan when he was pretty much done promoting his debut English album. When he came out with his next album it surpassed all his others in terms of commercial success. “Hero” wasn’t just popular in the US it was a worldwide #1. He may not have achieved that if Fernan hadn’t layed the ground work for his career though.

iIf promotion was done for Juanes recently in Italy, then it was not a big thing because my Italian friends and myself, who are fans of Juanes did not find any notice in a newspaper or on TV.
