Up to now, Chiquis & Raq-C’s show on Mun2 has been pure fun entertainment and an inside look at their lives as well as Chiquis’ mom Jenni Rivera.
That all changes with this next episode when Jenni’s daughter talks about her history of abuse.
Wanting to give back to other abuse survivors, she plans a charity event at a women’s center in downtown Los Angeles.
For the first time ever, Chiquis and her Tia Rosie talk about their shared history of sexual abuse and confront their feelings head on through a moving sermon given by Rosie.
Pretty deep stuff. That takes a lot of courage.
