El Gordo y La Flaca reports that Alicia Machado is also one of the actresses that the producers are looking at.
She said that it would be an honor to play Jenni because she loved her very much.

This is a no brainer. Alicia Machado does not have the same characteristics. She is not from Mexico. She does not have the same body shape. She can’t sing and it is questionable whether she can act. Angelica Vale on the otherhand is from Mexico, can sing, dance, act, impersonate characters and has a long history of working in the business. Come on producers get your act together and give work to the person who will give homage to Jenny and do right by her legacy.

I hope that the Casting for the Diva’s Movie is not the same as Selena’s, I remember being a little girl and watching all this girls audition for Selena’s role when in the end they had already selected JLO for the role and she is not MEXICAN!! oh and she did not sing on the movie..
