Ms. Trevi is not happy!

Gloria Trevi is not about to stay quiet after allegations that she has connections to the Cartel in Cali have surfaced.

“We want to make very clear that Gloria Trevi has never been implicated with any of these people mentioned in the book edited in Colombia by Rodriguez Mondragon, whom we don’t know or have had any relationship with.

It pains us to hear of this attempt to smear Gloria Trevi’s name by involving her in Colombian drug trafficking. It saddens us that the international press echoes the claims of these unscrupulous people that are utilizing the name of an artist known world-wide, like Gloria Trevi, to only swindle the public into buying a book full of lies.

These accusations compromise the supposed promoter that Rodriguez Mondragon mentions in his book, whose name was NOT revealed since he is NOT a well-known person nor does it benefit the best interests of the author. If the media is interested in investigating the supposed moneys that they say were utilized, questions should be directed to the promoter in Cali, Colombia.

For GLORIA TREVI this case is now closed and it lies in the hands of her lawyers en a legal process of defamation, for anyone who uses her name for their recognition, benefit, or personal gain.”
