Gloria_cover.jpgGloria Trevi lands the cover of Para Todos magazine in celebration of her 20 years in the industry.

Her debut album Que Hago Aquí, which included the song Dr. Psiquiatra, was released in 1989.

The mag exclusively provided us with the cover and tells us that Gloria arrived early, had no crazy requests, and stayed longer than she was scheduled for making everyone feel comfortable.

Her Best Moment:
“Professionally, the moment I am living now. This second stage in my career I am enjoying so much more, I am happier than ever, and I have people to share my triumphs with. I have 2 beautiful children that I was blessed with. It’s such a wonderful feeling to come home and share my successes.”

Her Most Difficult Moment:
“Like everyone can imagine, it was when I was unjustly in prison for several years, it was a legal nightmare. I had to leave what I loved most, the stage, my music, my fans and I thought everyone would forget about me.”

A memory of her first hit Dr. Psiquiatra (1989):
“I remember the first time they played “Dr. Psiquiatra” on the radio. The record company told me the day and time it would play, it was a Thursday at 2am. At 2am I was drinking my coffee so that I wouldn’t fall asleep, and when they played my song I immediately called the radio station. I called about 15 times making different voices requesting that they play the song over and over again. A couple days later the record company told me the song had become #1, with my fingers swollen from so much dialing I confessed that it was because of me, they looked at me and said “No Gloria, it’s nationally #1″. I almost fainted!”
