Gloria Estefan was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame by award-winning actor and musician Andy Garcia, making her the first Latina to be bestowed the honor.

This year’s opening night at the Bowl broke ticket sales records, resulting in raising more than $1.2 million.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the LA Philharmonic and its music education programs, which reach more than 120,000 children, teachers and adults every year.

Gloria dazzled the audience with a set of her greatest hits, including Conga, Mi Tierra, Get On Your Feet and Reach accompanied by her own Miami Sound Machine and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

A night of Gloria hits and money raised for music programs. A total win win!
