Death Threats Drive Film Crew Out of Mexico
Eva Mendes was due to film the movie Queen of the South in Sinaloa, Mexico, but they crew has just abandoned the location.
Why?
They have been receiving death threats and authorities believe that they are coming directly from the drug cartels.
You see, the film is about the murder of a cocaine smuggler and that topic hits too close to home for the drug gangs.
Producers have decided to cancel the movie completely to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Scary!

I actually only been there a couple of times. my last time was this spring break going to Tepic, Nayarit (apparently another ‘dangerous’ state in mexico and as far as I know I am still alive and enjoying el gossiper) hehe
