Yeah yeah, somehow I’m not quite buying it. Artwork is subjective anyway. What one person likes another may not.
I’m not really sure you should be judging Enrique’s new music on the basis of whether you yourself like it. Afterall you yourself said you hear his new single played on EXA all the time. Clearly many other people like it.

I don’t know about in Mexico itself but there was a big crackdown on that kind of thing with Spanish Radio stations in the US a while ago.
It’s more likely that EXA play Enrique’s songs because Enrique was huge in Mexico back in the day and he’s played their recent fetival as well as playing at a past one. He’s obviously loyal to them and they repay.

LOL it does look kinda dated and maybe it’s a bit too simple! However the song “Tired Of Being Sorry” is great and it’s worth it just for that. Plus you can put a CD with a prettier cover (like Laura Pausini’s latest one “Io Canto”) on top of it!
It’s funny how we’re discussing a CD cover when Enrique himself asked “who buys a CD just for the pretty face on the cover??” in an interview here in Canada a few years ago.
