Don Omar Talks About Colombia Lyrics
Don Omar has finally responded to complaints from the Colombian community about his song Sexy Robotica, which talks of cocaine and the country which has worked hard to separate itself from its tough past.
Fonseca, Colombian political leaders, and many Latinos in general felt that Don Omar was wrong to include those lyrics in his song.
DO defends himself in a press release, saying:

This is sooo lame!! His whole music persona is that of a bad-ass from the barrio…so what does he do? he sings about what goes on, which like it or not, includes ye-yo!! Where does the flake come from, most probably Colombia..what is he gonna say? I toked up with some good Ye-yo from Norway???? pleaseee…if you’re not into this music, just turn the damn ghettoblasta off and listen to something else…lo peor de todo esto es que ni me gusta la musica de Don Omar, pero criticarlo por esto me parece muy infantil!! Si loo van a criticar, haganlo porque the music sucks not cause of this jajajaja

Drugs are a reality. What people are going to put this man on blast because of what? If one is to judge this man over some damn words then you might want to question society who just sweeps this topic under the rug. We see drugs in our society. And most know where they come from. If not they are in denial!
Don Omar should just keep doing what he is doing because he is not hurting any one but just singing. At the same time this song has been out for how long and taking clubs by storm. That is why there is a video for it. And if one does like it turn it off and watch something else. It is your right.
