Don Francisco Talks of Sábado Gigante in English
Last night, Television Academy Hall of Famer Mario Kreutzberger, known to millions all over the world as Don Francisco, celebrated his 50th Anniversary as the host of Sábado Gigante at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, NY.
He regaled the audience with tales of his 50 years as host of the longest-running variety show in television history and shared personal stories of the rewarding satisfaction he’s received from entertaining audiences around the world since the show premiered in 1962.
DF surprised everyone by saying that he is in talks to make Sábado Gigante in English!
You would think that after half a century he would be slowing down…but things may just be only picking up steam!!

Don Francisco you are wonderful. You have been on TV with Sabado Gigante for 50 years! Does not seem like it. Your vim and vigor represents you enjoying yourself on the show, so it does not seem like 50 years. God Bless you with many, many more years! Love You!

oh my. Sabado Gigante still airs??
