Sergio Ramos Once Again Honors Antonio Puerta
Once Spain was declared the winner of Euro 2008, Spanish soccer player Sergio Ramos immediately took of his team’s jersey and replaced it with one in honor of his friend and teammate Antonio Puerta, who died last year from heart complications.
The shirt had Antonio’s picture and the message ‘Siempre Con Nosotros‘.
This isn’t the first time that Sergio pays homage to Antonio…following his death, Sergio scored a goal and revealed a shirt with a message for Antonio while keeping his eyes glued to the sky.
Simply moving.

My family and I are big Real Madrid fans and Sergio Ramos has become one of my faves, even more so after the tributes he gave to his good friend. Sadly, I didn’t know much about Antonio Puerta until what happened to him but everyone seemed to have a lot of respect for him. Que Viva España y que Puerta haya disfrutado el partido ayer.
