MessiLast year, Lionel Messi and his father were sentenced to 21 months in prison for tax fraud.

After appealing the decision, Spain’s Supreme Court ruled that the sentence stands.

Lio has said he wasn’t involved in any of this stating he was only worried about playing soccer.

The Court didn’t buy the story and said:
“It defies logic to concede that someone who earns a large income does not know that he must pay taxes on it.”

The good news is that he won’t be going to prison because under the Spanish system, prison terms under two years can be served under probation.
