Bullfighters Manuel Diaz & Jose Tomas Hospitalized
This was not a good weekend to be facing bulls!
Spanish Bullfighter Manuel Diaz, El Cordobés, was rushed to the hospital after his nose was completely destroyed in the bullring.
He needed stitches and doctors are going to have to figure out how to rebuild his nose.
Jose Tomas, another Spanish bullfighter, was stabbed in his thigh by the bull’s horn and lost a dangerous amount of blood.
He was unconscious for a while but reports are saying that he is recovering favorably.
So, this begs the question. With the danger for the bullfighters and the obvious ill-treatment of the animals, should bullfighting still be done today???

I don’t like it. I’m not all crazyPeta about it, but I see no place for it in society; nor do I have any sympathy for anyone injured/killed while doing it.

I understand this is part of the culture but these guys are torturing an animal and these are the results. Its hard to feel bad for them. I feel bad for the tortured bull.
