The Christian Chavez Wedding Pictures

endofyearchristian.jpgNo doubt, the biggest story of the year on LatinGossip.com was the discovery of Christian Chavez’s secret wedding.

But who knew that the RBD-er would give us so much to talk about? He was detained for buying marijuana, said that he thought about quitting RBD, and stood up for himself against bully radio DJs.

Los Dos Locos: Pablo and Cristian

endofyearpablo.jpgPablo Montero and Cristian Castro behaved like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears this year. They were loco in the cabeza.

LatinGossip.com was the first to report that Pablo got his somewhat girlfriend pregnant, rumors that he has a son in Costa Rica with some random chick emerged, and he was arrested for speeding and cocaine posession.

Cristian was just bananas. He said he had sex with Alejandra Guzman at the tender age of 11 (which she denies), he filed for divorce and then took it back, he tried to make People en Español look bad, and gave us something laugh about as he posed horrifically on the red carpet.

Wait…Noelia Was A Singer? Are You Sure?

endofyearnoelia.jpgOh Noelia. We got to know you REAL well this year. We feel like we know you inside and out…maybe it’s because we’ve seen you inside and out. Her porno video was all over the place in ‘07. She moaned on tape and then cried on Cristina.

Who leaked the tape? Was it Yamil, Jorge Reynoso, or Topy Mamery? Her mom had something to say, and so did grandma and now after all is said and humped, the ’singer’ is trying to cash in on her newfound fame by releasing a perfume.

Luckiest Babies EVER

endofyearbebes.jpgBaby fever hit the Latin entertainment world. Luis Miguel and Aracely Arambula presented Miguelito. Thalia and Tommy Mottola shared Sabrina Sakaë, and Salma Hayek introduced Valentina.

We also played ‘Is she or Isn’t she pregnant?‘ with Jennifer Lopez for months, but alas, she confirmed when she could no longer hide the panza. Christina Aguilera was another who tried to hide it, but then modeled her bump so beautifully in Marie Claire. Others that had babies - Cristian Castro, Daniela Spanic.

Disgrace and Disappointment

endofyearjessica.jpgWe despised that she despises her heritage. We were ashamed that she is ashamed of her heritage.

We collectively decided to ban her from LatinGossip.com because if she isn’t proud of being Latina, then we won’t applaud her accomplishments and celebrate her successes. Until we see that she makes a true and genuine effort to reweave her connection with Latinos, we’ll continue forgetting about her.

What Did These Murders Solve?

endofyearsergiozayda.jpgIn 2006 we dealt with several murders in the Mexican music community…and sadly we experienced the same tragedies in 2007.

Zayda Peña was shot and killed in Matamoros, Sergio Gomez was kidnapped and found dead on the side of the road in Morelia, and Jose Luis Aquino was killed in Oaxaca.

We Can’t Imagine a World Without Juanes

endofyearjuanes.jpgWe love our Juanes. We thought everything was perfect in Juanes-landia, until we heard that he had split from his wife and found himself a trampy girlfriend. Our feelings about Juanes were on the line, but in the end he turned out to be the prince we always knew he was.

In the process of this love confusion, we patiently awaited the release of his music, he had a statue erected in his honor, and he kicked major ass in music sales.

Lesson Learned: Pay The Hooker Their Money

endofyearfabian.jpgThe world was ALL OVER the Fabian Lavalle drama. He used to bring us the chisme…and now he IS the chisme. He was found beaten badly in a hotel room, supposedly by a male hooker. There is a movie in the works, then a music video was released, and it was hard not to uncomfortably laugh at all of this.

Fabis wants us all to believe that he was only looking for hot chicks. Oh yeah, we were also creeped out to learn that the hooker and Fabian are apparently attracted to each other because they look alike. Eew!

Oscarcita De La Hoya

endofyearoscar.jpgWe never thought we’d see the day that Oscar De La Hoya would model women’s panties and wigs. Yet here he is. We were shocked and he claimed they were fake.

Now the model who allegedly took these pics is suing Oscar because he interfered with the sale of the images.

This List Can’t Be Complete Without Pau

endofyearpaulina.jpgWasn’t this supposed to be Paulina Rubio’s year off? Somehow she managed to steal the spotlight without even trying!

She finally reunited with Timbiriche for one night, she became the first Mexican Ambassador of The Latino Commission on AIDS, Pau pissed off a bunch of people by posing nude with the Mexican flag, she supposedly didn’t pass a drug test, and Mitzy dissed her by making her Thalia’s servant.

For a hot minute, we thought she was joining Oreja de Van Gogh…oh yeah, she also got married to Colate.
