Omar Fayad Speaks
We were one of the first media outlets to tell you about the confusing and worrying story about Victoria Ruffo’s husband, Omar Fayad.
Omar spoke with La Oreja and had this to say about the incident:
“A guy came and tackled me as if it was American football, I pushed him and immediately six police officers subdued me with not so nice tactics, my wife became very nervous, finally minutes later they realized that they made a mistake. The procedure is that they subdue you, but I wasn’t scared, I didn’t resist, then people from Telemundo came over and asked what was going on and everything was cleared up, it was a tough situation to swallow.”
He also spoke about the unfair treatment Mexicans receive in the U.S.:
“Unfortunately for us Mexicans, this is the way they treat us, I am a public servant, I was with Victoria, imagine if some fan was there who just wanted an autograph from his favorite artist, and was then tackled, they’d place him under a brutal arrest.”

If he was in need for attention I don’t think he would ask people to attack him, and nearly give his wife a heart attack. We also happen to be Big Fans of Omar Fayad and Victoria Ruffo. And he isn’t a Loser, He is a charming and very repectful.

Did he cross a barrier or fence ?? Look like he was carrying a weapon ??? Would be interesting to hear the excuse from the person who tackled him.

Omar Fayad is a gentleman. This is a very sad incident which gives the world a bad impression. I know that some people when given some authority think they own the world and can do no wrong. I hope that Mr. Fayad sues them for every penny he can get. These bullies should not be allowed to roam free to hurt people at their whim.
