Manolo CaroNetflix has ordered a dark comedy series from Mexican director Manolo Caro, with distribution set across all of its 190 territories.

The dark comedy, carved up into 13 half-hour episodes, is about an outwardly perfect family running a flower business and hiding various affairs and secrets.

“Manolo is the only filmmaker in Mexico to have been a part of the top ten highest grossing movies over the last three consecutive years,” said Netflix VP Erik Barmack. “We are sure he will delight thousands of Netflix members around the world.”

Netflix adds this untitled project to a roster of Latin American productions that includes “Narcos”, “Club de Cuervos”, and more.
