Miss Venezuela Wins Miss Universe 2008
FIRST OFF can we just mention that FOUR Latinas made up the top FIVE finalists in the Miss Universe competition????
The big winner of the night is MISS VENEZUELA, Dayana Mendoza!!!!

2nd place - Colombia - Taliana Vargas
3rd place - Dominican Republic - Marianne Cruz González
4th place - Russia - Vera Krasova
5th place - Mexico - Elisa Najera
Yes, the last two standing were Venezuela and Colombia…very ironic, no?
Special mention…Miss El Salvador won Miss Congeniality. So not only are we hot but we’re also nice…when we want to be!
