prico.jpgDrama in the pageant world and AGAIN Ingrid Rivera, Miss Puerto Rico, is in the middle of the controversy.

Many people were shocked to see that Ingrid didn’t even make the top fifteen finalists at this year’s Miss Universe competition.

Primera Hora reports that her hopes for the crown could have been destroyed when Magali Febles, the owner of the pageant franchise in Puerto Rico, supposedly failed to cough up the $100,000 fee that each girl has to pay prior to the competition.

Get this…Magali also manages Marianne Cruz González, Miss Dominican Republic…who made it to third place!

Magali is from the D.R., and many believe that she paid the fee for her home country’s beauty queen but not for Puerto Rico…potentially sabotaging her chances.

If this is the case, then Puerto Rico needs to find new representation!

Couldn’t it just be that she didn’t get chosen for other reasons? It’s never a guarantee for ANYONE!

PS - Ingrid isn’t unfamiliar to drama for your momma. Her dress was pepper sprayed when she was crowned Miss Puerto Rico.
