Matt Dillon.gifActor Matt Dillon was in San Sebastian, Spain receiving an award and discussed immigration and the United States with the press. He said:

“If we deny other people coming to our country, then we’re denying everything that America stands for. I feel that way especially with our neighbors in Mexico.”

He also went on to say that he is pleased with the way America deals with racism. His talks about Mexico bring up the immigration case again, which has seem to fallen off the ‘hot list’ for the media. This is still an unresolved issue that should be discussed more often and hopefully words like Matt’s will help to direct the outcome to a more positive one.
