juli.jpgJulieta Venegas recently opened up about the wave of violence that is plaguing Mexico. She tells EFE:

“Like any person in this country, I am worried and unsure about what I can do as an individual, hoping that things get better.”

Not really motivational, but at least she’s honest.

She also discusses the Latino voting power and even though she doesn’t take sides on a public platform, she urges everyone to take their vote seriously.

“I like to think that all of the Latinos that live in the United States know the impact that these elections will have on other countries, especially due to the international relationships the US has.”

So true. Our vote doesn’t just matter in the US, it matters everywhere else in this world.
