Juan Soler Tells Peru He Is Afraid of Mexico
Juan Soler better watch what he says!
El Universal reports that on a recent trip to Peru, the actor said that he lives in fear in Mexico and that he hardly ever goes out because he is so afraid of the violence.
Ummm…he received his Mexican citizenship and is a famous actor thanks to the opportunities that Mexico has provided.
We all know that MEX has its issues right now, but it’s probably not smart to go around talking negatively about the country that has paved the way for your career. It comes off a little ungrateful.

Obviously everyone is afraid to live in mexico, my family as well specially in chihuahua. I dont see it as something that is ungrateful but something that is truthful. People who see it as ungrateful have the poor patriotic mentality that a lot of mexicans have, trying to cover the sun with one finger. Best thing to do is accept and try to mend the country

I completely agree with you LatinGossip! Those comments seem very ungrateful. After all, the reason he and his family eats is because he works in Mexico, so instead of sharing information the whole world knows about the country’s current issues, perhaps he should keep his mouth shut and act a bit more humble. Maybe he should talk about all the beauty and wonders Mexico has.
Mexico is like that, they take everybody under their wings and these people get their heads inflated. They did it with Alicia Machado, and look, she just went around saying that the Mexican representatives don’t take Miss. Universe seriously… Are you kidding me??? Shut your mouth!! Mexico te da de comer o no?? She wouldn’t be a dam thing if it wasn’t for the work she’s found in Mexico…
I have a suggestion for Juan Soler, si tanto miedo tiene, GO BACK TO ARGENTINA…

I don’t think him saying he is afraid to live in Mexico is being ungrateful at all! Have you been seeing the news lately? Hello many are being murder in that Country or kidnap for randsom!!!! Heck I would be afraid to even go visit Mexico due to these evil people that do all this……… Mexico is a beautiful place so sad that the police aint doing more to protect their people
AND YES MANY COUNTRY ARE DANGEROUS BUT LETS FACE IT MEXICO IS GETTING WORSE AND THE FACT THAT MANY OF THEIR OFFICERS ARE CORRUPTED OR AFRAID OF THESE CRIMINALS MAKE IT EVEN MORE DANGEROUS TO LIVE AND VISIT!

If he doesn’t like it… get out of Mexico.
And to “wandy”… look, all countries have issues, that doesn’t mean he needs to go emphasize it to other countries. Suficiente tiene México con sus problemas para que otros anden promoviéndolo aun mas.
The situation with Mexico is its more out in the open. Trust me, the US has corruption issues just like Mexico. Border agents taking bribes, smuggling drugs, gangsters becoming police officers to continue gang banging. Trust me, it isn’t all that safe to live here in the US, a country where police brutality is the highest than any nation.
In conclusion, Juan Soler should be more careful with his words.

That’s just funny. I live in Mexico, and I think people totally exaggerate about the ’situation’ that we’re supposedly living in.
I, however, have a feeling it’s safer here than it is in Argentina, and/or Compton (US), and/or Peru for that matter!
Anyway,
Saludos!

I JUST CAME BACK FROM A 2 WEEK VACATION IN MEXICO CITY. IT WAS BY FAR THE BEST VACATION I HAVE EVER HAD.
ABSOLUTELY SAFE!
THE PEOPLE WERE SO BEAUTIFUL…
VERY EDUCATED AND PROFESSIONAL…
THERE WERE POLICE ALL OVER, LOTS OF LIGHTING. NOT AT ONE POINT DID I FEEL UNSAFE…
SO YES, I AGREE WITH THE LAST COMMENT.
A LOT OF THIS IS EXAGERATION. LET’S NOT FORGET THAT A LOT OF WHAT WE HEAR IS CONTROLLED BY THE US MEDIA WHICH IS OWNED BY THE GOVERNMENT!!
I SPENT TWO WEEKS THERE, AND I WILL DO IT AGAIN ANYTIME… I LITERALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH MEXICO CITY…

oh my goodness, don’t be so hard on him. even latingossip has posted numerous stories of threats to actors, singers and has also posted terribly sad news of kidnapings and horrible murders. heck if anyone of us who post on this site go to mexico chances are nothing will happen to us as we’re not as important and as wealthy as we THINK we are lol. but to all those in the public eye—be careful—. Juan Soler isn’t like any one of us, sure he’s got human value just as we do, but ya’ll know what I mean. But hey, he’s not born-mexican but at least he’s STAYED in Mexico, unlike many other BORN-MEXICAN actors/actresses/artists. So give him a break. and sure mexico pays him y LE DA DE TRAGAR como dicen por aqui unos comentarios, does that mean he doesn’t have a right to be freaked out like many other wealthy and famous people in mexico are? MUCHOS DE NUESTROS PADRES TAMBIEN VINIERON A ESTADOS UNIDOS —- Y ESTADOS UNIDOS TAMBIEN NOS DA DE TRAGAR—but does that mean that we’ve gotta take abuse and poor working evironment and wages?!! tal vez lo mismo le dijeron a CESAR CHAVEZZ—”don’t bite the hand que TE DA DE TRAGAR” —- it isn’t fair is it. SO NO SEAN TAN MALA ONDA CON EL. WE ALL KNOW THAT HIS COMMENTS WEREN’T SAID WITH THE INTENTION SOME OF THE COMMENTERS SEEM TO REACT TO.

But like always all these extranjeros van a Mexico a trabajar y despues andan hablando mal del pais. Que se regrese con su esposa a su pais de ambos a ver que tan seguro estan en Argentina. Y Peru es otro pais con delicuencia como en cualquier pais del mundo.
