Candles.jpgThe Latin world mourns the loss of Trigo Figueroa, son of legendary singer Joan Sebastian. As reported earlier, Trigo died from a gunshot to the head after one of his father’s concerts in Texas early Sunday morning.

The funeral took place today in Juliantla, Mexico. It was very private with Eduardo Capetillo being the only famous face in attendance. Following tradition in that region in Mexico, family members dug the ground where Trigo would be put to rest in peace.

Joan hasn’t been able to stop crying since the incident. He continues to ask who did this. The investigation has led police to believe that the killer came from the VIP section because ticketholders in that section were not patted down for weapons.
