Chavela Vargas has been hospitalized in Madrid.

The singer was taken in for exhaustion and just overal fragile health – she’s still working at 93 years old!

Ever the trooper, Chavela wants everyone to know that she is OK. From the hospital bed, she said:

I am doing fine, sweethearts. I am stable, but tired. Thank you for your thousands of messages of love.
