Carlos Cuaron Feels Discrimination Due to H1N1
This makes us so mad!
Mexicans around the world are getting discriminated against because of the H1N1 flu.
El Universal reports that Carlos Cuaron, the man who directed Rudo y Cursi and wrote Y Tu Mama Tambien, was at the airport and an airline employee asked him what his nationality was.
As soon as Carlos said Mexican, the man covered his nose and mouth and told Carlos to show his passport but to open it himself so that he wouldn’t have to touch anything.
Seriously, wear a mask and don’t discriminate!
It’s not a Mexican virus!!!

IGNORANCE!!!! it’s all over the world. The good thing about ignorance is que no se pega!!!! otherwise we’d be in even greater danger than the flu!

I’m not surprised. This sh*t gives everyone an opportunity to show their true selves. My daughter and I were at a hospital and called for a cab. Her last name is Gonzalez. The cab pulled up and the driver kept the doors locked, cracked the window and asked if we were sick. He finally unlocked the door and let us in. He told us that he had to be careful with all those spanish people giving us the flu. I said I need to be careful of pendejos como usted. xenophobia in action folks and it’s 2009.
I really thought we were past this, but I guess not.
